Beekeeping activity (Under Gramodyog Vikas Yojana)

Scheme aimed at promoting self-employment in beekeeping through skill training, distribution of bee boxes with colonies, tool kits and technical handholding support. A 5-day beekeeping training programme is provided through KVIC training centres. Training fee of ₹1,500 per candidate is applicable for general category; SC/ST candidates are exempted. Beneficiaries receive bee boxes and related equipment as per KVIC norms to support honey production
